Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) about Isagenix
As an independent Isagenix associate (distributor), I have been asked a lot of questions about Isagenix programs and products from potential and current customers. I fully understand a person’s interest in understanding what a product is, why they would want to use it, and if there are any caveats about usage, allergens, and health concerns; because I had many of the same questions when I considered becoming an Isagenix associate.
Over the years I have noticed, and have come to expect, a certain number of frequently asked questions (FAQs). While the following information, divided into popular subsections, does not answer every possible question, it is a compilation of those FAQs that I have been asked. What is Isagenix?
Q: What is the company philosophy of Isagenix?
A: Isagenix is an international nutrition and wellness company based on the vision of helping people achieve their optimum weight goals and improve their physical health and appearance. Isagenix began in America, has been available to the public for more than a decade, and throughout that time has been on the list of the USA’s top fastest growing private companies. Isagenix is a recognized, reputable member of DSAA, the Direct Sellers Association of Canada. With all of today’s checks and balances in product research, effectiveness, and safety, Isagenix has proven itself to be a trustworthy company that is able to provide the public with quality products that deliver positive results.
Q: How is Isagenix different than other cleansing and detoxing products?
A: The majority of over-the-counter cleansing and detoxing products are really no more than harsh colon cleansers that flush your system so quickly in a manner that actually robs your body of both good and bad bacteria. For several hours after taking those products you are not able to perform normal daily activities because you need to remain near a bathroom. The natural ingredients in Isagenix are designed to gently pass through your system without any harsh, rapid side effects. Q: I want to try Isagenix. How much do the products cost and how can I order them?
A: To maintain quality control and to keep our prices low, Isagenix is not available in stores. The products are only available by email or online (see the next question for further information). Q: Are Isagenix products ever on sale or are there only the retail prices?
A:Isagenix can be purchased in 4 different ways. The dollar amounts below show the differences in prices for the Isagenix 30 Day Weight Loss System (as an example).
- RECOMMENDED: Preferred Customer on Autoship ($298 + $29 signup) — Sign up to the Autoship program to have access to the cheapest wholesale prices year round and get your Isagenix program delivered straight to your door every month. Autoship can be cancelled at any time, even after you take advantage of the cheaper prices on your first order! There are no locked in contracts of any sort. To select this option:

- Enter your personal and delivery information

- Set up your autoship by selecting the ‘More Products’ dropdown menu and adding products to cart
- Schedule your autoship for every 30 days (this can be easily changed at a later date)
- Proceed to the end of the checkout. If your order was successful, you will get an email instantly from Isagenix. If it wasn’t, please contact me immediately to complete the purchase.

- Preferred Customer without Autoship ($350 + $39 signup) — You can still get access to cheaper than retail prices, however this option will cost more than signing up to the autoship program. To select this option, follow steps 1-6 above, but when prompted select the following option:
- Customer on Autoship ($380 with no signup fee) — No annual fee and you’ll save 10% off full retail prices. By being on autoship you’ll save an additional 5% on any pack or system.
- Full Retail/Customer without Autoship ($420.27 with no signup fee) — If you prefer not to sign up for autoship or pay an annual fee, you can purchase the products at full retail price.
Q: What is auto ship and why would I want to pre-schedule deliveries?
A: Signing up auto ship means that you will have a continuous supply of your monthly Isagenix products delivered every 30 days to your selected address. There is never a need to remember to order your items every month, never a need to pay full retail price, and you can alter the delivery date and items at any time. Your products are shipped from the nearest distribution center in a timely manner so that you are able to maintain your individual program.
Returns and 30 Day Money Back Guarantee
Q: What is the return policy for Isagenix products?
A: Isagenix offers a 30 day money back guarantee for first time orders of a product. If you are not completely satisfied with the product, for whatever reason, you can return it. If you decide to return one or more items from a first time order, contact your associate for a return merchandise number and mailing instructions.
Q: If I am already an Isagenix customer, does the 30 day money back guarantee still apply to any new product that I order?
A: Yes. The 30 day money back guarantee is valid for any first time order of a product.
Nutrition and Wellness Information
Q: Besides helping me to lose weight, are there any other wellness benefits associated with Isagenix?
A: Absolutely. Isagenix was formulated with essential vitamins, minerals, and essential trace elements to ensure your body maintains a high level of wellness while helping you to rid your system of bad bacteria and toxins that are keeping you from reaching your weight loss goal. Isagenix products include vital electrolytes and adaptogens that enable your body to generate energy and eliminate stored cortisol (belly fat).
Q: What are electrolytes and what do they do?
A: Electrolytes are small chemicals needed by every cell in the body. They help to keep the body move fluids throughout and out of the body, help your muscles to contract, and support hormones within your kidneys, lungs, brain, heart, and adrenal and pituitary glands. Electrolytes work to stimulate your thirst triggers and help to keep you from becoming dehydrated.
Q: What are adaptogens and what do they do?
A: Adaptogens are herbs, berries, and botanical plants that have been used in traditional Chinese medicine for centuries. Adaptogens support energy, endurance, adrenal glands, mental focus, blood pressure, normal blood sugar levels, and cardiovascular health. They also help reduce or eliminate stored belly fat. Q: Can I drink coffee?
A: If you are at the beginning of your first 30 Day Cleanse with Isagenix, it is strongly recommended to avoid coffee. Although this concept may be difficult for coffee fans, continuing to drink it during the cleanse can decrease the efficiency of your nutritional cleansing (and therefore have a negative effect on your weight loss). If you are desperate for a caffeine fix, consider Isagenix E-Shots for a boost of energy or herbal teas since their caffeine is a result of natural sources such as green tea or yerba mate.
During the maintenance phase, coffee is an acceptable option as long as it is black and free of toxins. Always check the label to ensure you are avoiding harmful chemicals or toxins (the exact substances you are trying to avoid and eliminate by using Isagenix). Isagenix coffee is made from fairly traded beans and organic ingredients which are toxic free, If you incorporate cleanse days during your maintenance phase, it is recommended to avoid drinking coffee on those days as it will disrupt the cleanse process.
Q: Once I achieve my weight loss goal, do I need to continue using Isagenix products?
A: The Isagenix programs are intended to be a lifestyle maintenance program. Is you exercise to stay in shape, you would not stop when you have achieved your goals. That is the vision behind Isagenix. Once your system is cleansed of toxins and performing well, you want to maintain that level of performance. Isagenix helps you keep that renewed level of wellness.
Food Intolerances and Medical Information
Q: Are there any Isagenix products with dairy, wheat, or other allergy triggering ingredients?
A: All of the ingredients in every Isagenix product are listed on both the label and the description information on the website catalogue. Isagenix has developed an Allergen Table, which highlights the most commonly known food allergens. If you have an allergy that is displayed on the Allergen Table, please review the product ingredients or contact your associate for additional information. Isagenix does have dairy and gluten free products, I personally love the dairy free shakes.
Q: I have a medical condition that requires medication. Can I use Isagenix while taking a prescription medicine?
A: Anyone with a medical condition needs to consult their primary medical provider before beginning any detoxification or cleansing program to ensure that there is no adverse side effects. Talk with your doctor about the ingredients in the Isagenix products you want to use before starting a program.
Account Changes
Q: Can I change the products on my automatic shipment without losing my discount?
A: Absolutely. As long as you maintain a qualifying automatic shipment order, you will maintain your purchase discount.
Q: How often can I change my delivery address or the items that I want on my auto ship order?
A: You can alter your delivery address and the items you want as often as necessary. However, to avoid any missed deliveries, or missed products, be sure to contact your associate if you need to make changes more frequently than once a month.
Q: If I move out of the area, do I have to find another associate to buy my Isagenix from, or can I still order from my current associate?
A: Yes. You can still order your Isagenix products from your current associate. Unless you move to a country were Isagenix does not sell products. Isagenix is in 12 countries and is continuously expanding globally .
Q: If I move out of the area, will the cost of the products change?
A: If you continue to order your products from your current associate, there will be no difference in price unless you move countries. There may be a change in the shipping cost depending on your new delivery address.
